Description
The user may want to be notified about changes that have occurred, such as, that (and what kind) of Pickup he has picked up, that he just destroyed the spaceship of the user Overlord23 or that he just received a quest and should go look what it is about.
Notifications are the tools to do exactly that. They need a generic framework and a GUI.

Because I started working at the GUI, I guess this ticket emphasizes the need of a good GUI. Those notifications are surely important and necessary to be able to inform the player about various events in the game.
The question is, if this is better solved by the GUI or the HUD as those things are both able to display text. The GUI isn't really working ingame at the moment and when there is no interactivity (buttons, drag'n'drop, drop down menus etc.) needed, you can also solve this problem with overlays in the HUD.

The framework has been implemented. The GUI at the moment is only displaying text, no background, no fancy dynamic adding/removing of notifications (as in: You see the notification message move through your screen). So: It's usable but still a little ugly.
