Protocol for server discovery

Orxonox at the moment, can only discover servers that operate in the same LAN. Your task would be to establish a protocol to discover servers all over the internet.

For that we would need a deamon on our orxonox.net server where other servers could register themselves and a protocol to contact the orxonox.net server and get a list of the servers that have registered themselves there.

This is a job for someone who already knows his way around internet protocols.
